How does Magnet Therapy work?
Acupressure energy points are the same points as used in acupuncture but instead of using needles, fingers and thumbs are used. Acupressure points, like reflexology points in the soles of the feet, are described as areas of the skin where meridians or channels terminate from connections to various parts of the body.
These meridians provide a circulation system for electrical energy throughout the body and can be thought of as a communications network. Simply, they can be used to direct the body's nervous system to release muscular tension and assist the flow of blood to injured parts.
How is Magnet Therapy carried out?
This is a non invasive method used and is an alternative to using acupuncture needles, where the magnet plasters can be left on the body for a few days.
