What is the difference between Counselling and Life Coaching?

Counselling look to the past to help to find a solution and offer possible options, whereas Life Coaching is not concerned with the past, it is exclusively about the now and future. However both believe that the answers are within the individuals themselves. Coaching is a process that enables an individual to achieve their full potential.

What is a Personal Life Coach?

A life coach is someone who will help improve your personal and/or professional life by offering support and encouragement while suggesting new ways to achieve your goals.

A life coach is more of a partnership than anything else.

It is a support system with one goal in mind: improving your quality of life.

How can a Personal Life Coach assist?

With a coach by your side it could be success all the way through support and setting appropriate goals and using methods of assessing progress in relation to these goals.

The coach will;

Facilitate the exploration of needs, motivations, desires, skills and thought processes to assist You in making real, lasting change.

How do the sessions take place?

Coaching sessions take place in one of three ways:

1. Telephone - it removes travelling time, and can save time and money. At the end of a coaching session, a convenient time is arranged for the next session, for the client to call the coach.
